After the frustration on handling an in-flight medical emergency in August 1995, Dr. Gandsas developed a system capable of broadcasting vital signs from commercial aircraft

Dr. Montgomery donated his free time to develope "LifeLink". This software uses unique compression algorithms that enables transfer of data and real time video at a speed of 4,800 Bps.!

Dr. Altrudi was in charged of the recipient station in Argentina. Doctors at that end were receiving vital signs from a 757 Boeing flying at 35,000 feet.
